SLEEP: THIS IS WHEN YOU DETOX!

It is not often considered sleep as a detox tool, but its role is sooooo important & should not be overlooked.

Sleep is the only time primarily devoted to healing & detox.

During deep sleep, thousands of reactions repair the body, cleanse the body, and prepare the body for a more extended period of alertness and the energy and work it demands.

One of the main functions of sleep is the processing of toxins in our body by various organs and energy return. During sleep, you do not maintain daily life functions such as talking, reading, walking, and eating. The body is ready to awaken the next stressful period by taking advantage of this hour to redirect its resources to recalibrate and reset.

How much sleep do we need? That’s the million-dollar question. The exact number varies depending on the source, but the most critical detail is the time to sleep. The best time would be between 22.00 – 02.00.

The most important thing is to listen to your body. If you don’t feel repaired, or your mind is cloudy, and you won’t be able to perform high-level tasks that you know you can do, you may be sleep-deprived.
